Led Zeppelin – Ahmet Ertegun Tribute Concert – $84,000

In December 2007, rock giants Led Zeppelin reunited at London’s O2 Arena in honor of the late Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun. Despite ticket prices starting at $250, this concert set a record for the highest-priced concert ticket ever sold, reaching a monumental $84,000 per person.

Maroon 5 – M5LV The Residency – $8,700

In 2023, pop-rock sensation Maroon 5 had a Las Vegas residency called M5LV The Residency. The Residency showcased the band’s hit songs and amazing performances, and due to high demand, ticket prices went up to an astonishing $8,700. The band is returning to Sin City this year for a new residency at the Park MGM Theater.

Bruce Springsteen – Springsteen and the E Street Band Tour – $5,000

The tickets for the Bruce Springsteen tour that started in 2023 reached $5000 per person due to high demand. Although the average ticket price was ‘in the mid-$200 range’, this sparked criticism as many felt it was too expensive, leading to scrutiny of Springsteen and the ticket sales company Ticketmaster. On average, their concert tickets sell for $823, but prices skyrocketed during their 2018 Love Yourself World Tour. For instance, a ticket for their Chicago show was sold for $3,850.

The Weeknd – After Hours Til Dawn Tour – $2070

In 2022, Canadian singer-songwriter The Weeknd went on his seventh concert tour to promote his albums Dawn FM and After Hours, featuring his blend of pop, electronic music, and R&B. Fans paid up to $2,071 for VIP ticket packages that offered special perks like premium seating, exclusive merchandise, and access to a pre-show party pass.

Usher – My Way Las Vegas Residency -$2,600

Usher’s Residency occurred at the Dolby Live amphitheater in the Park MGM Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The show included covers and medleys, as well as an appearance by the rapper Ludacris.
